This thing is long, so I will be breaking it up into a few posts.
The first books I really remember reading, and loving to read were Goosebumps, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark and … (NERD ALERT) non-fiction books about science. Honestly, as a kid, I preferred non-fiction to fiction. I read books about space, biology, history, etc.
It’s probably the same book literally everyone will choose for this one. But Harry Potter. My second favoriteĀ classic would be The Scarlet Letter or 1984.
It wasn’t so much lost interest, but never read it because it was EVERYWHERE — 50 Shades.
Probably Book 1 of the Darkest Minds series. It feels like a lot of the other dystopians out there, but I still love it to pieces.
I don’t currently have a series I’m avoiding for this reason. But I did put off Game of Thrones for a while because of it.
I haven’t had a book keep me up at night because it scared me.
I’ll do another part later this week. š
